Our Motto

The motto of the A.M.E Church is "God Our Father, Christ Our Redeemer, Man Our Brother." It was derived from the writings of Bishop Daniel Payne (1811-1893). Our motto recognizes that first, we were given life (first birth) by our Heavenly Father and Creator.
Secondly, we were given worth through the death and rebirth (second birth) of our Savior. Finally, we were granted oneness through love for all mankind.
